Oncam IP Series
Oncam IP series cameras are ideal where highly discreet, high-resolution, easy-to-install network cameras are required. They provide all the benefits that are inherent in 360° IP cameras, including remote viewing and a single cable solution.
All Oncam IP cameras have a hemispherical fisheye lens that provides constant 360° surveillance with many benefits:
- No blind spots. There is no area where a breach in security cannot be seen by a 360° camera.
- Instant, no delay. An object cannot move through the field of view of a 360° camera and avoid detection regardless of its velocity.
- Silent operation. There is no sound to alert a visitor to the presence of cameras.
- No necessary, regular maintenance due to wear and tear of moveable parts.
Oncam cameras use powerful on-camera analytics to process several views, from a fisheye view of the entire scene to four dewarped VCam views to track multiple objects of interest. Using the four dewarped pan, tilt, zoom (PTZ) virtual cameras (VCams), viewers can take advantage of the following:
- Independent PTZ operation with each VCam, as well as panorama and fisheye images, which are ideal for live viewing
- Motion and change-of-object detection within polygonal-defined areas of interest, which are more precise and useful than traditional rectangular-defined areas
- Up to four targets or events can be tracked simultaneously on one fisheye lens, thus targets cannot move in different directions and be lost from view
- 10 polygonal, configurable privacy regions can be defined to exactly block out specific regions from being seen by the camera without exposing nearby areas to risk of threat
- 10x digital zoom providing more viewing flexibility and clarity
- Retrospective scene analysis with PTZ when used with a compatible recorder as if the scene were live
