ONCAM IPC
Conceal-mounting 360° IP camera

  • 5-megapixel sensor
  • Constant 360° field of view ideal for live panorama and fisheye views
  • Four dewarped ePTZ virtual cameras (VCams)
  • Retrospective scene analysis with vPTZ when used with a compatible recorder
  • On-camera image processing
  • Up to four targets or events tracked simultaneously on one camera
  • Video streams in multiple resolutions from QQVGA (160x120) to 2144x1944
  • Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) support

The Oncam IPC is an IP camera with a 5-megapixel sensor and no moving parts. The unit is designed for applications where highly discreet installation is a requirement and it fully supports IEEE802.3af Class 2 Power-over-Ethernet for installation convenience.

The IPC provides total situational awareness over a 360° field of view, generating a number of video streams at a choice of resolutions, including four dewarped virtual cameras (VCams) which offer independent pan, tilt and zoom operation as well as panoramas and fisheye images. On-camera image processing enables motion detection, within polygonal-defined areas of interest, and tracking, with up to four targets being tracked simultaneously using VCams.

Comparison

The world’s leading video surveillance 360° technology is provided by Grandeye, the technology arm of Oncam Global Group. Grandeye has exclusively specialized in 360° technology since 2003. A succession of awards is testament to the innovative nature of Grandeye's patent-protected technology. At the core of Grandeye's technology is the ZiiLabs ZMS chip, which Grandeye has unique access to, coding directly onto the chip to enable optimization of the image processing pipeline. This enables Grandeye to develop “smart” camera technology that greatly reduces system complexity and cost when compared with more traditional approaches. The following table highlights typical differentiators to consider when looking at 360° solutions.
