The Oncam Halocorder is a high-resolution recording solution for the Oncam Halocam-R 360° analog camera. Connecting via a dedicated high-speed digital port on the Halocam-R, the Halocorder will capture the entire 3MP fisheye image, independent of PTZ operations carried out at the time. Halocorder's recorded images can be played back through the Halocam-R as though they were live images. PTZ control and the generation of virtual cameras (VCams) and panoramas are available during playback.

The world’s leading video surveillance 360° technology is provided by Grandeye, the technology arm of Oncam Global Group. Grandeye has exclusively specialized in 360° technology since 2003. A succession of awards is testament to the innovative nature of Grandeye's patent-protected technology. At the core of Grandeye's technology is the ZiiLabs ZMS chip, which Grandeye has unique access to, coding directly onto the chip to enable optimization of the image processing pipeline. This enables Grandeye to develop “smart” camera technology that greatly reduces system complexity and cost when compared with more traditional approaches. The following table highlights typical differentiators to consider when looking at 360° solutions.
