Oncam Global approaches every security solution with the end goal in mind: To properly identify and assess potential threats posed to your facility, staff or operations so you have accurate information to act upon a verified threat or not act upon a verified false alarm.
To accomplish this goal, Oncam designs and oversees a total implementation package, from a customized design—including award-winning Oncam cameras and best-in-breed technologies—to delivery and installation of the solution, to full and tested deployment.
The implementation package is accomplished in phases:
Discovery Phase
- Define security goals: What is to be protected, made secure?
- Survey site, evaluate and discuss: Where are the vulnerabilities?
- Assess risks and create threat profile, encompassing a set of threats that characterize what an enemy would be trying to accomplish.
- Review budget.
Architecture and Engineering
- Determine customized solution, integrating threat profile with appropriate technologies, which would start with Oncam 360° and could include scanners, trip wires, motion detectors, alarmed handles on doors, biometrics, dual sensors, radio frequency identification, for example.
- Design, engineer solution, using in-house and best-in-breed-partner expertise.
- Create plan blueprint.
- Review, approve plan.
Deployment
- Install and fully test solution.
- Train security personnel, who will be involved in the customization of programmable parameters.
Maintenance, Support, Changes, Upgrades
- Maintenance of cameras is minimal due to strong performance and no moving parts.
- Support is available via 24/7 technical support line.
- Solution is flexible, designed for easy upgrade to accommodate future needs and technology advances.
